In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. Al-salam 'alaykum wa rahmat Allah wa barakatuhu kulluhu. May all the peace, the beneficence, and the blessing of God be upon us all. May God help us all. 3. The Goal of This New Direction Overview of Topic: The goal of this new direction is to become the "Umbrella of Wisdom and Truth" to both the world "inside" and "outside" of us, in order to prevent in this way, the premature destruction of the world "outside" of us. Text of Topic: And in this way, to do "wise and truthful things" in the world "inside" of us, that are then reflected in the world "outside" of us, and in this way, to help all of our brothers and sister still living in the world "outside" of us, who have not yet made the transition from the "outside" of us to the "inside" of us before they die, who have not yet learned to do their duty "here" from "there, rather than "here" from "here". To help them make this transition before it is too late, before they die and before they are to old to do anything about their current state of "separation and differences", about the state that currently keeps them living with their brothers and sisters in the world they see in their ignorance as existing "outside" of them, about the state that keeps them "separate from" God, "separate from" each other, and "separate from" the Creation of God within them, that God has personally and ever so lovingly placed within them before they came here, to this earth world, to God's School of Contrast, to understand who they already are, and having learned this lesson, to return to the Oneness of God and True Man from which they came, never to leave again, as the rain returns to the ocean from which it came, becoming again the ocean, no longer the rain. And in this way, to help them better deal with the difficulties of the world "outside" of them, to help them avoid serious accidents on the path of God, that could permanently impede their journey back into the Oneness of God and True Man within them, to help them while they try to make the transition from the "outside" of them to the "inside" of them, to help them use their wisdom and the truth of God within them, to use their Shaikh within them and God within Him, to be successful in their life, to return to God, to an eternal life of "Oneness with" God, rather than to use their mind and desire, rather than to use what God has discarded within them, which will only lead them to hell, to the suffering of the grave, to Qiyamah, the Standing Forth, the Day of Reckoning, and an eternal life of "separation from" God. In this way, to help them use their wisdom to "reason over" their fate or destiny, over their fate or destiny or karma or life of "separation and differences" that is truly "inside" of them, that is truly the 105 million lives of darkness that they have grown and raised to maturity within them but that they currently see in their ignorance as reflected "outside" of them. And having used their wisdom and the truth of God within them in this way, having used their Shaikh within them and God within Him, to become the life and teaching of God for this age "inside" of them, and "inside" everyone else, to become the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen within everyone living in this age (may God be pleased with Him), they become the One True Child of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen for this age (may God be pleased with Him), they become the Child of God's grace for this age, they become the Light of God to both worlds, both this world, the earth world or dunya within us, and the next world, akhirah or the Kingdom of God within us, they become the "Umbrella of Wisdom and Truth" to the world "outside" of them. In order to prevent a premature destruction of the world "outside" of us all, before each of us living in this age have learned to successfully join with the wisdom and truth of God within us, before we have successfully learned to bring the world of darkness within us, that is reflected "outside" of us, to its proper end within us, closing down the world of hell within us, re-opening the world of souls within us, and opening the kingdom of God within us, and in this way, ushering in akhirah or the "hereafter" within us, here and now, ushering in the next Chapter in the story of God within the story of True Man within us, and the story of True Man within the story of God within us. In order to prevent a premature destruction of the world "outside" of all of us, which could easily happen in our life time if we are not all more careful on the "inside" of us, if we continue to nourish all of the lives of darkness within us that in our ignorance we have grown and are continuing to grow within us, eventually becoming if we let them, if we continue to feed them with the food of darkness that we are constantly growing on the "outside" of us and feeding them on the "inside" of us, eventually becoming the "beast" of darkness within us that will move, within one of us, from the "inside" of us to the "outside" of us, and that will then destroy the world of us all, on the "outside" of us, in this way, bringing about the premature destruction of the world we now all inhabit. May God protect us from this fate, from this destiny, from this karma, from this life of "separation and differences" that we are currently living in our ignorance "outside" of us, because we have failed to understand through our wisdom and through the truth of God within us, through the gift of God for our age, through our Shaikh within us and God within Him, through the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen within us (may God be pleased with Him), we have failed to understand the correct answers to the true questions of our life, like "who we are?", and "where we are?", and "what's happening" in our life?" Because we have failed to understand "who we truly are" - in truth we are "what is within us", which is True Man, and God within True Man, like the apple seed is "what is within it", which is the apple tree, and the apple fruit within the apple tree. Because we have failed to understand "where we truly are" - in truth "we are hidden within", we are hidden within the wisdom or consciousness or light of God within us, that has been hidden within the ignorance or darkness of God within us. We are hidden within the true Shaikh of God within us, which is "us" living as "One with" God within us, with the Triple Flame of God within us, with the wisdom, the truth, and the power of God within us, with God as - Ya Allah, Ya Rasul, Ya Muhaiyaddeen, and with "us" as the Three of "Us" within the Three of God, with "us" as the - Disciple, Shaikh, and God, all of which has been hidden within the false shaikh of God within us, which is "us" living "separate from" God within us, with our brothers and sisters in the world we see in our ignorance as existing "outside" of us. And in this way, we are hidden within the Mother who raises True Man within us, the Mother who raises the True Believer within us, the Mother of our wisdom, of our truth and faith. The Mother of our wisdom which Bawa teaches us is the Inner Qur'an (see page 135, in Chapter 12, "The Inner Qur'an", in the book, "Islam And World Peace: Explanations of a Sufi"), the Umm al-Qur'an within us, the Suratal Fatihah within the Qur'an within us, within the inner mystical form of a human being, which is our inner most heart, like the apple fruit is hidden within the apple tree that is hidden within the apple seed that has been hidden within the earth, just waiting to germinate, to awaken to itself. For as Bawa teaches us, "An apple seed germinate because it becomes aware that it is an apple seed, that it is buried within the earth, and that the earth contains everything necessary for the apple tree to grow." "Then the earth becomes aware that the apple seed is now aware that it is an apple seed, that it is buried within the earth, and that the earth contains everything necessary for the apple tree to grow." "Then out of this mutual awareness, the earth surrenders to the apple seed and the apple seed surrenders to the earth, and the apple seed germinates. That is why the apple seed germinates, because of awareness, because of the realization of the truth that emerges from within it, not because of the 5 elements, not because of anything about where it is buried." And because we have failed to understand "what is truly happening in our life" - in truth the wisdom within us is revealing the truth within us, and the truth within us is revealing the wisdom within us, so the Oneness of the wisdom and the truth of God within us can reveal the power of God within us, and His beauty, like an apple seed is revealing the apple tree within it, and the apple tree is revealing the apple seed within it, so the oneness of the apple seed and apple tree can reveal the apple fruit, and the sweet taste within it. And in this way, Bawa teaches us, that, "The purpose of our life is to reveal God". And Bawa teaches us that God is revealed within us through understanding, that, "Nothing will ever leave you until it is understood, because that is why it is there in the first place, understanding." In this way, God is first revealed within us, as True Man within the Creation of God, when we join with our wisdom, with our Shaikh within us, to complete what the Shaikh is doing within us, to complete what He has already started within us, which is to reveal the Shaikh within us, which is the Shaikh within the Shaikh within us, which is the understanding of the Shaikh within the knowing of the Shaikh within us. For as Bawa teaches us about the difference between the knowing and the understanding of things, "To know is to experience, to understand is to transcend." In this way, allowing the Shaikh to understand "who He is?" within knowing "who He is", allowing the Shaikh to transcend the experience of being the Shaikh, of being "who He is" by understanding "who He is", and "who He is", is "what is within Him", and "what is within Him" is God, is the truth of God within the wisdom of God, allowing the Shaikh to disappear back into God from which He came, as the rain disappears back into the ocean from which it came, having completed its work as the rain, again becoming the ocean, no longer the rain. Allowing God to do the same, allowing God to reveal God within God, allowing God to understand "who He is?" within knowing "who He is", allowing God to transcend the experience of being God, of being "who He is" by understanding "who He is", and "who He is", is "what is within Him", and "what is within Him" is the Oneness of God and True Man, is the power of God within the truth of God, allowing God to disappear back into the Oneness of God and True Man, which in truth is God within us, from which He came, as the water disappears back into the earth from which it came, having completed its work as the water, again becoming the earth, no longer the water. Amen, Amen, Ya Rabil Alameen. Amen, Amen, Ya Rahman Alameen. Amen, Amen, Ya Rahim Alameen. Al-hamdu lillah. Allahu Akbar. 4. The Cause of the Premature Destruction of The World "Outside" of Us Overview of Topic: The cause of the premature destruction of the world on the "outside" of us is "us", is "us" growing the beast "inside" of us, rather than "us" growing Muhammad (Sal.) "inside" of us, is "us" growing the beast within us, with all of our love and trust in the world "outside" of us, rather then "us" growing Muhammad (Sal.) within us, with all of our love and trust in God "inside" of us, until the "beast" comes to maturity within one of us, and then comes "outside" to destroy all of us, to eat all of us, to eat what nourished it when it was "inside" of us, which is "us" living on the "outside" of us, "separate from" God, "separate from" each other, and "separate from" the Creation of God within us, that God has personally and ever so lovingly placed within each of us, before we even came to His "School of Contrasts". Which is "us" joined as one with all of the lives of darkness within us, in order for "us" to live in the state of "separation and differences" with our brothers and sisters on the "outside" of us. And in this way, is "us" doing duty in the world "here" from "here", rather than us joining with our wisdom and our truth, which is our Shaikh within us and God within Him, to do duty "here" from "there", in order to pass judgment on all of the lives of darkness within us, before the "beast" can come to maturity within any of us. And in this way, to save all of us, to save all of us from the "beast" on the "outside" of us, and to separate the darkness within all of us into heaven and hell "inside" of us, into the 7 heavens of God and the 7 hells of God within all us, and in this way, to save all of us, by bringing Muhammad (Sal.) within all of us to maturity as iman, as wisdom, and as the 'ilm or the divine knowledge of God. Finally revealing Muhammad (Sal.) within all of us as the light of the innermost heart, as the 8th heaven of Muhammad (Sal.) within the 7 heavens of God within all of us, as akhirah within all of us, except for those within us who maintain their "separation from" God until the very end, getting for their efforts an eternal life of "separation from" God as the fruit of their labor. Text of Topic: In this way, my dearest loving brothers and sisters of my heart, in our ignorance we are continuing to feed all the lives of darkness within us, all of the lives of darkness that are living, growing, and multiplying "inside" of us, as we "sin", as we look, see, hear, smell, taste, and touch, in the state of "separation from" God, of "separation from" each other, and of "separation from" the Creation of God within us. As we "sin", as we think, intend, say, and do anything in the state of "mine" and "yours", in the state of "separation and differences" in the world that we see in our ignorance as existing "outside" of us, in this way, producing the bountiful harvest of darkness "inside" of us, that feeds all of the lives of darkness "inside" of us, which in time brings the "beast" to maturity within one of us, allowing the "beast" to come "outside" of all of us, and destroy all of us on the "outside" of all of us, and in this way, prematurely destroying the "outside" of all of us. Prematurely destroying the "outside" of us before we can learn to profit from the gift of God for our age, which is the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen within us (may God be pleased with Him), that God has personally and ever so lovingly placed within each of us before we came to this earth world, to this earth world of illusion or maya, and of "separation and differences", to this school of God, this "School of Contrasts", in order to learn through that contrast about who we already are, and having learned, having allowed our wisdom to reason over our fate, to return triumphant to our Father, never to leave again. This is what Bawa means when He teaches us, "Life is a feast of the world, its medicine is a time after a time." This is our current life, a feast for the lives of darkness within us, this is our current "life", a life of "separation and differences" that we live on the "outside" of us, but that secretly feeds all of the lives of darkness "within us", a life of "separation and differences" that we live in the world of illusion with our brothers and sisters, in the world that we see in our ignorance as existing "outside" of us, but that in truth is a "feast of the world" within us, a feast for all of the lives of darkness that we have grown, and continue to grow and nourish, in our ignorance "inside" of us. And "its medicine is a time after a time", its medicine is each time we join with our wisdom and our truth, with our Shaikh within us, and with God within Him, to complete the intention of God and of True Man within us, to join with our Shaikh within us, and with God within Him, to reveal True Man within the Creation of God within us, and to join with our Shaikh within us, and with True Man within God within Him, to reveal God within the Creation of True Man within us. This is the bountiful harvest of our "outside" life, the bountiful harvest of our "outside" life of "separation and differences", the life that we are currently conducting with our brothers and sisters in the world that we see in our ignorance as existing "outside" of us, the life that we continue to grown, expand, and enhance "outside" of us, that is secretly nourishing the lives of darkness hidden within us, and is secretly bringing the "beast" to maturity within all of us, the "beast" that will eventually come "outside" of all of us from within one of us. Rather than joining with the wisdom and truth of God within all of us, with our Shaikh within all of us and with God within Him, to make all of the lives of darkness within all of us, come to an end within us, rather than joining with the light of God within us to reveal the light of God within us, ending the lives of darkness within us, by starving all of the lives of darkness within all of us, by no longer providing them with the feast of our life on the "outside" of us, with our life of "sin", with our life of "separation and differences", in order to eventually make them die within all us, and in this way, to bring all of the lives of darkness within all of us to Qiyamah within all of us, to The Standing Forth, to The Day of Reckoning, before we die, and before the world "outside" of all of us is destroyed. My dearest loving bothers and sister, this is the Great Goal of our life, and also the Great Problem of our life, and accomplishing this Great Goal of our life and getting rid of this Great Problem of our life is now our only work in the world, our only work in this age, in this last of the four ages since the coming of Adam (peace be upon Him) into the world, over 200 million years ago, this is our only work now at the end of the fourth and last age of the world, at the end of the kali yuga, the age of destruction, which is now. This is our only work now, my dearest loving brothers and sisters, to accomplish this Great Goal of our life by getting rid of this Great Problem of our life, not by "us" as "separate from" God, as "separate from" each other, and as "separate from" the Creation of God within us, trying to live in the world "outside" of properly, or better, or more comfortably, or smarter, but rather by "us" joined in partnership with God within us, with our wisdom and with our truth, with our Shaikh within us and with God within Him, to leave the world "outside" of us now, immediately, surrendering both our life "outside" of us and our life "inside" of us to the wisdom and truth of God hidden by God within us, which is the presence of our Shaikh within us, and of God within Him, before we die, and before it is prematurely all over on the "outside" of us, for all of us. This is our only work now, my dearest loving brothers and sisters, not to become our parents, but to become our Shaikh, and then God within Him, not to grow up, get married, have children, and a nice house and family, a nice job, a career, not to live in a nice neighborhood, in a nice state or country, not to become wealthy, or have a brilliant career, but to open our closed heart, understanding it as the heart of our Shaikh, as the Inner Qur'an, as the Umm al-Qur'an, and to dive deep within it, and having understood our Lord, to let Him pull us out of here and back into Him, from which we have all come, having come to an understanding of "who we already are", having received an answer to the question God asked of God in anathi, in the time of darkness and lack of understanding within us, having received God's answer to God's question, "Who am I?" And the answer to that question changes as we change, when we turn away from our life of "separation and differences" in the world that we see in our ignorance as existing "outside" of us, when we turn away from living with our brothers and sisters that we have joined with "outside" of us, and instead we join with our wisdom and with the truth of God within us, we join with the gift of God for our age, we join with the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen within us (may God be pleased with Him), we join with our Shaikh within us and God within Him, we join with our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), and with the Primal One within Him, the Rabil Alameen, the Ruler of all the universes. For example, as this child has done this, has turned away from "himself" living "outside" of himself, and has turned away from living with his brothers and sisters "outside" of himself, and instead has turned toward "Himself" within himself, has turned toward God for this age within himself, by trying to live at the feet of God for this age, at the feet of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen within him (may God be pleased with Him), by "intending as God intends", and by saying the "name of God for this age", by saying out loud the name "Bawa", or "Bawa Muhaiyaddeen", or "Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), before saying or doing anything, then everything in my life has changed. And in this way, inviting His Holiness to come out of my innermost heart, which is where He lives within each of us, and come into my life of mind and desire, which is where we currently live within us, and complete God's intention within me, and to repeatedly do all of this, this "intending as God intends", this saying out loud the "name of God for this age", and this inviting His Holiness to complete God's intention within us, before this child says or does anything. Then the following 5 part answer to God's question, "Who am I?" has gradually opened within my heart (over the last 27 years): 1) Ill Allahu; You are God 2) La illaha; There is nothing other than You 3) Muhammadar Rasulullah; Muhammad (Sal.), the Light of the Innermost Heart, the Light of the Inner Qur'an or Umm al-Qur'an, is the Messenger of God 4) You are True Man 5) He is One (Note: See Spiritual Letter 11, "Another View of The 5 Kalimah's", for a brief discussion of the growth of this 5 part answer in the heart of this child. This is our only work now, my dearest loving brothers and sisters, to let the wisdom and truth of God within us, to let our Shaikh within us and God within Him, pass judgement on the lives of darkness within us, before we die in the world "outside" of us, before "our outside body drops", and before our "outside" world prematurely comes to an end for all of us. For if we die before the lives of darkness within us are judged by God within us, then we must go to judgment with them, rather then transcend them, which is God's intention for us, then we must go along with all of the lives of darkness within us that we in our ignorance have grown and nourished within us, but who have not yet faced their judgement by God within us, and in this case, then we must go to the suffering of the grave, and to their judgment within us, to Qiyamah, and eventually join with them for an eternal life of "separation from" God. May we all think about this a little, my dearest loving brothers and sisters. It is very, very important. The state of our eternal life depends on it. Amen, Amen, Ya Rabil Alameen.
